According to the British Prime Minister’s office, Prime Minister Starmer discussed the situations in Gaza and Lebanon with Netanyahu and expressed concern over the situation on Israel’s northern border.
Prime Minister Starmer advised all parties to exercise caution and underscored the immediate need for a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and access to humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The British Prime Minister also spoke with the Palestinian President over the phone, assuring him of Palestine’s international legal status.
